Arup Totems - London
As part of the continued lighting infrastructure upgrade at Arup’s London headquarters, the REGEN Initiative was formally commissioned to evaluate and enhance the illumination of the vertical Totem Markers located on each floor.
The Lighting Challenge
The original Totem design had cross bars running horizontally which prevented any form of continuous vertical lighting. The existing lighting illumination set up was fragmented due to the original luminarie design. The challenge was to create clean, homogeneous illumination without light pooling.
